Lismore & Cappoquin Credit Union was founded in 1971 to provide co-operative banking to the Lismore and Cappoquin communities.

The registered office of the credit union is in Lismore a town steeped in history with it's famous castle. Lismore has been a center of learning since its foundation.

Cappoquin, in the foot hills of the Knockmealdown mountains with the beautiful Blackwater river flowing by has the famed Mount Mellary abbey just a short distance away.

Lismore & Cappoquin Credit Union has over 2000 members and an ever increasing range of services to meet the needs of its members.
